Attractions include the Babbacombe Model Village in Torquay and The Golden Hind in Brixham, an incredible replica of the famous 16th century ship. Of course, there are also plenty of beaches for relaxing on in these parts of Devon, where you can dip your toes into crystal clear waters.
Northern Devon is also home to stunning beaches and villages including the settlement of Appledore, close to Barnstaple and next to the Northam Burrows Country Park. With white sandy beaches, friendly people and quaint cottages, it is a lovely place to reside in for a last minute break in Devon.
