Wonderful cottages with a swimming pool
In England, heated outdoor swimming pools are only operational between May and September. When booking out with this period, check that the swimming pool is indoor and heated or it may just chill your romance a little.
You may have been out all day sightseeing, visiting the local towns and villages or climbing the hills and the prospect of a relaxing swim on your return can be an added pleasure during your cottage holiday.
Small cottages for two do not generally have a private swimming pool although we do know of one or two that sleep four people and have a pool attached.
More commonly, one bedroom cottages and pine lodges in a cottage complex share the swimming pool with other guests in the other cottages in the complex. This is the most cost effective method for all concerned. A holiday cottage with its own private pool for your personal use only would be expensive because of running costs.
A cheaper alternative is to rent a holiday cottage with a hot tub. Lots of people find these quite pleasurable and they do offer the joy of sharing jets and bubbles with your loved one.
