Another thing you may wish to do with your loved one is to visit the Cabot Tower in the pretty parkland of Brandon Hill in the West End of Bristol. This soaring tower that is over 105ft tall was constructed in 1897 to honour the voyage from Bristol to North America that John Cabot took over 500 hundred years ago. The spiral staircase inside can be climbed to get incredible views over the city or you may just wish to stroll around Brandon Hill which happens to be the oldest park in Bristol and features lots of beautiful and winding pathways.
